Software testing is one of the most accessible ways into IT, and this comprehensive course takes you from the fundamentals of QA all the way to test automation in Python.

You build a solid manual-testing foundation and then learn to automate. Key topics and tools:
• the software development process and the role, types and methods of testing;
• software quality criteria, working with requirements, and finding, describing and reporting defects;
• test planning and preparing test data;
• Jira and Confluence for task and defect management (Xray for test cases) and Git for version control;
• SQL for validating data, Postman and REST API testing, Chrome DevTools;
• Python fundamentals and automation with Robot Framework and Selenium — custom keywords, the Page Object Model and CI/CD (Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions).

Every topic is reinforced with practice, and you finish with automated tests you have written yourself — a portfolio you can show an employer.

No prior IT background is required; you can start from scratch. The course suits newcomers to the profession, people changing fields, manual testers moving into automation, developers, analysts, product managers, and anyone who needs to test their own products.

On completion you will understand the full testing process, be able to find bugs, plan and document testing, and automate scenarios in Python / Robot Framework — a practical foundation for starting work in software testing.

The course is taught in a full classroom (in-person) format in the centre of Tallinn; real-time online participation (Zoom) is available if needed.
