Kubernetes Administrator ( CKA ) course is ideal for those wishing to manage a containerized application infrastructure. This includes existing IT administrators, as well as those looking to start a cloud career.
This course also serves as preparation for the CKA certification exam.
Prerequisites:
Learners need to have a level equivalent to:
• Students should have an understanding of Linux administration skills, and be comfortable using the command line.
• Must be able to edit files using a command-line text editor.
• In addition delegates should possess a foundational understanding of containerisation technologies and principles. This includes familiarity with how containers work (e.g., Docker), basic command-line usage, and concepts like images, volumes, and networking. While deep expertise isn’t required, learners should be comfortable with the idea of deploying and managing containerised applications, as the course will build on these fundamentals to explore more complex Kubernetes orchestration, configuration, and troubleshooting tasks. A basic grasp of YAML and cloud-native architecture will also be beneficial for keeping pace with the course content.
Learning outcomes:
• prepared to install and configure a production-grade Kubernetes cluster, from network configuration to upgrades to making deployments available via services, and also handle the ongoing tasks necessary for Kubernetes administration.
